Assay of Antihemophilic Activity in Hemophiliacs.

Abstract

|
28 hemophiliacs whose antihemophilic activity had been assayed from July 1975 to
August 1976 were analyzed. The incidences of hemophilia. A and B were 22 cases
(79%) and 6 cases (21%) respectively. 18 cases (54%) belonged to pediatric age group
on the first visit.
A positive family history were evident in 9 cases (32.1%).
The mean coagulation factor Ⅷ level of hemophilia A cases was 2.31% and of
hemophilia B was 2.45%
The coagulation times were within normal limits in 6 cases (21.5%), however partial
thrombop-lastin time were markedly prolonged in all cases.
